Privacy Policy
CodeMaker Pro — MikroTik hotspot and User Manager card generator with multiple routers, no ads and no limits.
The short version
- The app does not create an account with us and does not send your records to us.
- Your data stays on your device, in the App's private storage, and you can delete it at any time.
- We never sell your data — there is no tracking, no profiling and no advertising SDK at all.
- You can reach a human at scashier6@gmail.com.
1.Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how KeoSoft (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information in connection with CodeMaker Pro (package name com.keosoft.cmpro) and every update we publish for it (together, “the App”).
KeoSoft is the name under which an independent software developer publishes apps on Google Play. We are not a data broker, we do not run an advertising network, and we do not operate a cloud service that stores your records. Almost everything the App knows stays on the device in your hand.
If a question is not answered here, contact us using the details in section 17.
2.Scope of this policy
This policy covers the App itself, the data it stores, and the permissions it requests. It does not cover services we do not control — for example Google Play, your own MikroTik router, the devices the App connects to (a router, a printer), or any website you open from a link inside the App. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to read them.
The App is distributed through Google Play, in the countries where it is listed. This policy is the complete statement of how the App handles data — there is no separate document you need to read alongside it.
3.Privacy at a glance
The short version, before the detail:
| What | Where it is | Who can see it |
|---|---|---|
| Router addresses, user names and passwords | Local database on your device; the passwords are encrypted | Only you |
| Card designs and generated vouchers | Local database and the files you export | Only you, and whoever you give the files to |
| Profiles and users read from your routers | Local database on your device | Only you |
| Advertising and analytics data | None — the Pro version contains no ads and no analytics SDK | — |
We do not have a copy of your records, which means we cannot read them, sell them, lose them in a breach, or hand them over. That is a deliberate design choice, not an accident.
4.Information the App stores on your device
The App does not create an account with us and does not ask you to register with us. Everything below is created by you, on your device, and stays there:
- Router connection details — IP address or host name, user name, password (encrypted before it is written to disk), API/SSL/SSH ports and connection options, for each router you add.
- Router profiles — the hotspot and User Manager profile names, prices, validity periods and limits that the app reads from your routers.
- Card designs — colours, shapes, network name, price text, phone numbers, currency, validity, logo or photo, code and password positions, fonts and page size.
- Generated vouchers — the codes, user names, passwords, serial numbers and generation dates produced by the app.
- App settings — language, theme, default character set, code length and bind-on-first-use options.
Where it is stored
Everything the app knows about your network is stored in a local SQLite database inside the app's private storage on your device — one database per router. The app talks directly to your MikroTik routers over your network; there is no server of ours in the middle, and no copy of your router credentials, profiles or vouchers is sent to us.
Passwords and connection details are encrypted before they are written to disk, so they are not stored as readable text. The App's private storage is not readable by other apps on a normal, unmodified device.
5.Device permissions and why we ask for them
Android shows you a permission prompt only when a feature needs it. We ask for the following, and nothing else:
| Permission | Why the App needs it | When |
|---|---|---|
| Internet | Reach your MikroTik routers through the RouterOS API or SSH, including over a remote connection you configure. | Always |
| View Wi-Fi connections View network connections Change network state | Detect whether you are on a router's network, and warn you when the router's hotspot login page is blocking the connection. | Always |
| Photos and files (write storage) | Save generated cards as PDF, HTML or text files, and read the logo or photo you pick for a design. | When you export |
| Foreground service | Keep a long card generation or the active-user monitor running while the screen is off. | While that task runs |
You can refuse any permission, and you can revoke it later in Android Settings → Apps → CodeMaker Pro → Permissions. Refusing a permission disables the feature that depends on it; the rest of the App keeps working.
6.Advertising and analytics
The Pro version contains no advertising, no advertising SDK and no analytics SDK. It does not request your Advertising ID, it does not display banners, interstitials or rewarded videos, and it does not report usage statistics anywhere.
You paid for the app, so there is nothing to monetise: the only network traffic it generates is the traffic between your device and your own routers.
Because there is no advertising SDK in the App, there is no advertising identifier to reset and no ad personalisation setting to change.
7.Purchases and payments
CodeMaker Pro is a one-time purchase made through Google Play. The payment is processed entirely by Google; we never see or store your card number, billing address or any other payment detail.
Google Play checks that a valid licence exists when the app is installed and updated. That check tells us nothing about your routers or your vouchers; it only answers the question “is this installation licensed?”.
8.Third-party services
These are the only third parties involved in the App. Each one is governed by its own privacy policy, which we do not control:
| Service | What it does | Privacy policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google Play | App distribution, updates and licence checks. | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Your MikroTik routers | The devices the app manages. They are yours, and they are not operated by us. | Controlled by you |
We do not embed social networks, crash-reporting platforms, attribution trackers or data brokers beyond what is listed above.
9.What we do not collect
To be explicit, the App does not:
- ask you to create an account with us, or collect your name, email address or phone number;
- read your contacts, SMS, call logs or calendar;
- listen to your microphone;
- track your location — the location permission, where it appears at all, exists only because older Android versions require it before an app may scan for Bluetooth devices;
- scan your photo library — you choose individual files, and only the files you pick are read;
- sell, rent or trade personal data.
11.How long information is kept
Your records stay on your device until you delete them — by deleting individual records, clearing the App's data, or uninstalling the App. We keep no copy, so we cannot recover anything for you.
Generated vouchers also remain on your router until you delete them there. The App's “delete” function removes them from both places; if you only uninstall the App, the vouchers stay on the router.
Messages you send us for support are kept for up to 24 months so that we can resolve the issue and refer back to it, and are then deleted. We do not add you to a mailing list.
12.How we protect your data
We take reasonable technical measures to protect what the App handles:
- passwords and connection details are encrypted before they are written to disk;
- connections to your own server, router or printer stay on your network and are never routed through us;
- the App requests only the permissions a feature actually needs;
- the App contains no remote-access or backdoor functionality.
No method of storage is perfectly secure. Your device's lock screen, your operating-system updates, your backups and the files you export are your responsibility. If you lose your device, change any password the App stored.
13.Children's privacy
CodeMaker Pro is a professional tool for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13, or under the higher age set by the law of your country.
If you believe a child has used the App and entered personal data, delete the App's data or contact us and we will help you remove it.
14.Your rights and choices
Because we never receive your records, most of your rights are exercised directly in the App — deleting a record, clearing the App's data or uninstalling it is an effective erasure, and it happens instantly.
Controls inside the App
- Delete any record you entered, at any time, from the screen that holds it.
- Clear the App's data in Android Settings → Apps → CodeMaker Pro → Storage to remove everything the App has stored.
- Uninstall the App to remove it and its local data altogether.
- Reset your Advertising ID, or turn off ad personalisation, in Android Settings → Google → Ads.
Statutory rights
Depending on where you live, the law may give you the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. We honour those rights for the small amount of data we actually hold — in practice, your support correspondence. For anything the App keeps on your device, you exercise those rights yourself in the App, because we cannot see that data and therefore cannot retrieve or delete it for you.
How to exercise them
Write to scashier6@gmail.com and tell us what you need. We answer within 30 days. For data held by Google as an advertising or billing provider, use your Google account controls — we cannot act on your behalf there.
15.International transfers
We do not transfer your records internationally, because we never receive them.
Google may process advertising and purchase data in countries outside your own. Those transfers are governed by Google's own safeguards, including the standard contractual clauses it publishes.
16.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the App changes — for example when a new feature needs a new permission, or when the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page always shows the current version.
If a change materially affects how data is handled, we will say so in the App's release notes on Google Play before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the App after that point means you accept the updated policy.
Earlier versions are available on request.
17.Contact us
Questions about this policy, or a request about your data, can be sent to us directly:
- Email: scashier6@gmail.com
- Telegram: t.me/keosoft (usually the fastest way to reach us)
We aim to reply within 5 business days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the data protection authority in your country, where one exists.
